Several pairs of diamond finches flying around in the aviary, all removed for the summer because three pairs are very dominant towards the other beautiful finches. On the one hand, it's a shame to lose those beautiful, large birds, but the Dornastrildes didn't stand a chance, below are a few recent photos.

The first litter from my only pair of diamond finches was a success, four beautiful young fledged young. Had several litters from the couple last year but never raised them, they were probably still too young. Now they are doing great and the next eggs are already ready.
